Shuswap Kids Arts

Dear Parents of creative kids, there will be TWO kids summer drama programs at Shuswap Theatre for summer 2019. I (Michelle Atkins) have been running these programs in Salmon Arm during the summer for the past 8 years. I am a teacher in the local School District with a background in drama and fine arts. We have a blast together at each drama camp! Its highly creative and there is room for *all kinds of kids* (The actors, writers, costume makers, directors, stage managers, assistants).  See the parent testimonial link below.

I am also involved in an outdoor art camp with Shuswap Wild Wonders. See more info at bottom of this page.

This summer we will be play-building at Shuswap Theatre.

PLAY-BUILDING:  Building a play from the ground up based on story, character and movement. This will build piece by piece, layer upon layer from kids ideas and inspirations. We will work towards a presentation on stage on the final day of camp (1:30pm) to show family and friends.

FINAL PRESENTATION:  On the last day of camp there will be a final drama presentation for friends and family.  Please join us promptly at 1:30 pm for a show, snacks, music and slideshow. See you there!
